Securing environmental justice in food, energy, and water (FEW) systems in the wake of the
life-threatening impacts of climate change, which are growing more aggressive, is a
significant global challenge for our generation. These three resources are essential to
sustain livelihoods, grow economies, and achieve sustainable development. However,
frontline communities have limited access to clean and adequate FEW resources. My
endeavors aim to promote justice, human rights, and overall well-being by advancing
interdisciplinary scientific inquiry, democratizing science, collaborating with community
organizations, dismantling colonial legacies, and addressing the nexus of food, energy, and
water resources.
